Michael Butler

Marketing Organizer
A lifelong resident of Southern Illinois, Michael Butler is committed to getting Illinois back on track.

Growing up, Michael worked in his family’s restaurant & saw firsthand the impact government can have on small businesses. Michael’s grandparents taught him “if you don’t like something, do something.” The impact of legislation coming out of Springfield spurred Michael to action & he interned on his first campaign as a junior in high school.

Michael’s passion only grew at McKendree University where he ran track & cross country, majored in political science, & interned for multiple political campaigns. Michael went on to earn his MBA with an emphasis in Marketing from Maryville University.

Michael has a wide amount of experience, having served as a field director for municipal campaigns, a business & community liaison for a well-known non-profit, & chairman for a state representative campaign. Most recently, Michael served as the Political Director for Congressman Mike Bost where he worked to ensure to ensure consistency of message across twelve counties.

Michael understands the importance of investing in the next generation. He currently serves as the Club Sponsor for O’Fallon Young Conservatives, an organization committed to training up the next generation of conservative leaders. Michael is also an active member of First Baptist Church O’Fallon, where he teaches senior guys.

Michael learned the values of honesty & hard work from his parents & he seeks to live by those values every day. The son of a farmer and a nurse, Michael brings a unique, hometown perspective to Cor Strategies.
