Lane Davis
Communications Messenger
Lane first got interested in politics during the 2nd grade when they learned the history of all the Presidents of the United States. Ever since then, it was something he was always drawn to. Lane received his bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan where he majored in public relations. There he took several political science classes that focused on communications and the media in politics. After those classes, he knew he wanted to pursue a career where he could combine his communications and public relations skill set with politics. During college and upon graduation, he interned for political organizations and worked in the private sector handling the PR and social media for area businesses. Lane broke into politics full-time first as an intern for Sapan Shah’s US Congressional campaign and later became the candidate’s personal aide. In April of 2018, Lane joined Cor Strategies as the Communications Messenger where he has since coordinated communications for dozens of campaigns, associations, and organizations. In his free time, Lane enjoys playing golf, traveling, watching The Office, listening to music and podcasts, and spending time with friends.
