Johnathon is an Illinois native who was born and raised in Poplar Grove, Illinois. He has followed politics and the inner workings of government since high school. As a graduate of the University of Illinois-Chicago with a degree in Public Policy, Johnathon began his career in politics when he worked on local campaigns in his home county. Since then, he has worked on many campaigns of all sizes at the local, state, and federal levels. Most recently he was the campaign strategist in the primary for Dan Brady's Secretary of State campaign.

When he is not working, Johnathon can be found working on his Masters at Northwestern University, watching his Boston Celtics and Chicago Cubs, spending time outdoors, and playing golf.
