Cor Strategies is a Midwest-based political solutions company that drives results. Founded in 2009, we’re the largest full- service center-right political company in Illinois. To date we’ve worked with over 500 campaigns and 200 businesses and organizations. We use our expertise and relationships to make a difference by doing work that matters. Our mission is to fix Illinois and move our country forward by advancing center-right people who espouse public service, organizations that progress commonsense principles, and causes that promote the public good.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
As we continue to be involved in an increasing number of political efforts throughout Illinois, we need individuals to help lead our political efforts in specific regions.
These individuals will be the public-focused members of our team in their regions and coalitions, attending public functions, building relationships with political leaders, helping strengthen Republican and conservative grassroots efforts and organizations, and recruiting and activating center-right candidates and activists.
These individuals will also serve as a liaison between our clients in their region and our operations team, working directly with our clients in the trenches. Lending their political and local knowledge to the expertise of our full-service political team, they will actively ensure our clients are successful in their efforts.
These individuals will also serve as members of our political team. Together, our political team develops strategies for all our clients and political efforts, monitors plans to ensure maximum effectiveness, provides political guidance to the members of our operations team, and actively works to rebuild right-of-center efforts in Illinois. Our political team aggressively and energetically seeks out opportunities to grow, individually and as a team, sharing knowledge and experience with each other so we are constantly growing stronger and more effective.
Individuals in these roles must have authentic people skills. They must genuinely care about making a difference in Illinois and working with people to enact that change. They must be willing to sacrifice their egos for the good of their team and the greater good. They must be comfortable in social settings and eager to develop their networks. They must have a drive to succeed and a competitive spirit. They must thrive in stressful situations and be motivated by ambitious plans, unflinching in the face of adversity, and undaunted despite slim odds. They must be self-starters who thrive both independently and as a team. They must be willing and eager to learn and grow. They must have political and strategic skillsets with a working knowledge of local and/or Illinois politics. They must hold center-right political beliefs. And they must be located in Illinois with the ability and willingness to travel as needed to our headquarters in Inverness, Illinois.
