Kara has been involved in politics her whole life and started at a young age. Her parents, dedicated Precinct Committeemen, would take her to events almost every weekend. Kara’s actual career in politics started as an intern with Bruce Rauner’s victorious gubernatorial campaign in 2014. Shortly after, she was hired on as a full-time staff member. After working for Governor Rauner, she worked on numerous state and local level campaigns, as well as working for other political organizations and PACs until finding her new home at Cor Strategies where she has become Cor’s expert at grassroots engagement and referendum campaigns. In her free time, Kara loves hunting, fishing, working out, and riding motorcycles.
